We had some great performances at Sunny hills this year!  The weather was nice and the meet went smoothly.  Great job to everyone on the team for getting together, warming up together, and being at the right places at the right times!  Another good meet for WHS, and another good step in the right direction.

Overall:  Girls ranked 2^nd in the meet, Boys ranked 1^st in the meet.  By grade:  Senior Girls 2^nd, Jr Girls 2^nd, Sophmore Girls 1^st, Freshman Girls 1^st.  Senior Boys 1^st, Jr Boys 5^th, Sophmore Boys 1^st, Freshman boys 4^th.

Congratulations to the 31 athletes who had a new PR for the season at this meet!

Athlete of the week:  Ellen Salemme ran a great time of 19:38 to win her race! 

For the Boys, Drew Arguelles with a time of 15:56 for a very strong performance.

Central Park Invitational:  Hosted by Fountain Valley High School.  (we are Section 1 large schools).

Parking available at Central Park Sports Complex Parking Lot, located at 18100 Goldenwest Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.

Busses will leave at 6am from WHS.  We expect to arrive back to WHS at approximately 3:30pm.

Beach time:  .  Normally this meet is our Yucaipa meet, and we have fun up in the Apple Orchards, but this year we are doing something a little different!  After the meet, busses will be taking the athletes to the beach, at Huntington beach.  Sign up sheets for food have already been given to the athletes.  If your son/daughter can not attend this (from approximately 12:30 – 3:30 pm), please contact me right away so we can make arrangements
